National Organizer of the All Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association Asela Sampath and a few civil activists today visited the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) to highlight the shortage of gas in Sri Lanka.

The activists, including Sampath, carried empty gas cylinders from their own residences on their shoulders to show the officials at the CAA the current plight of the public due to the crisis.

Emphasizing that there is a shortage of gas in the country, Asela Sampath said the public cannot wait until the Government provides a solution to the issue, as promised, in a week or more. (NewsWire)
