Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son and Chief of Staff Yositha Rajapaksa has refuted rumours that he was trying to secure a stake in the domestic gas business.
Denying the rumours, Yoshitha Rajapaksa stated that he does not own any gas company, adding that fake propaganda was being spread to tarnish his image.
According to the Daily Mirror, Yoshitha Rajapaksa said such stories had been fabricated to disrepute the Government.
Stating that it was yet another blatant fabrication, he said this too was similar to the previous rumours that he owned a golden horse. (NewsWire)
