A high-ranking Sri Lanka Army Officer and two specialists at the Epidemiology Unit have been accused of manipulating data pertaining to Covid statistics in Sri Lanka.
The National Freedom Front, led by Minister Wimal Weerawansa, has revealed that data pertaining to Covid statistics in Sri Lanka is being subject to continuous manipulation.
Spokesman of the party MP Mohamed Muzammil told the media that a high-ranking Army Officer and two health specialists were reportedly involved in the manipulation of Covid data.
Stating that data with regard to Covid patients and deaths were being manipulated, MP Muzammil added that an investigation could be conducted by Army Commander General Shavendra Silva to identify the suspects. (NewsWire)
