Renowned English tutor Dhananjaya Anuradha has died while receiving treatment for COVID-19.
The tutor, who has been teaching English to students for years, had been admitted to the Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital after contracting the virus and had died on Tuesday morning (24).
His wife, Anjali Perera, had also died a few days after his demise, with the couple leaving behind a daughter.
The final rites of Dhananjaya Anuradha was held in Biyagama, while his wife’s funeral will be held today. (NewsWire)
