Nearly 53% of deaths due to COVID-19 in Sri Lanka have been reported in the Western Province as of 20th August 2021.
According to health authorities, 23.5% of the deaths were reported in the Colombo District.
Meanwhile, Mullaitivu in the Northern Province recorded the lowest percentage of COVID-19 deaths during this period.
As per Health Ministry reports, Mullaitivu recorded 0.1% of Covid-related deaths. (NewsWire)
