Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran.
Gammanpila held discussion with Iranian CB governor Dr. Akbar Komaijani on several financial collaborations between the two countries, mainly focusing on possibility repayment of loans by exporting commodities to Iran.
Minister Gammanpila previously participated in the Gastech Exhibition & Conference held in UAE from 21st to 23rd of September.
During his visit to UAE, he held bilateral discussions with Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Hon Parviz Shahbazov and Minister of Energy & Infrastructure of UAE, Hon. Suhail Mohamed.
Minister also met the CEO of ADNOC (Abu Dahbi National Oil Company) Global Trading Company to discuss about increasing the credit facility to given to Ceylon Petroleum Corporation. (NewsWire)
