The couple who were arrested for creating an obscene video near the Pahanthudawa waterfall and posting it on the internet have been given a suspended prison sentence.
After they pleaded guilty, the Balangoda Magistrate’s Court fined the couple Rs. 10,800 and sentenced them to three months imprisonment, suspended for seven years.
A 24-year-old woman from Elpitiya and a 34-year-old man from Maharagama were previously arrested by the Police after a pornographic video of the couple shot near the famous waterfall went viral. (NewsWire)
