The Ministry of Justice has issued a statement on the progress of amendments to legislation in Sri Lanka as of 31st October 2021.
The Ministry said it has completed amendments to eight (08) new legislation/ the amendments have been passed by the Parliament.
Amendments to 83 legislations are to be completed, while 05 new legislations/ amendments have been completed and referred to other lines of Ministry/Agencies, it added.
