There is a possibility for Covid cases to increase once again in December, the health authorities have warned.
The Public Health Inspectors Association said the threat of COVID-19 spreading further still remains in Sri Lanka.
Consultant Pediatrician at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children Dr. Deepal Perera also warned that it has been observed that there is a high possibility of Covid cases increasing in the month of December.
He called on the public to refrain from venturing outdoors with their children, especially on leisure trips.
Meanwhile, Government hospitals have requested the public to carry their Covid vaccination cards when visiting the hospitals for treatment. (NewsWire)
