Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs Harin Fernando and Kumara Welgama engaged in an argument in Parliament today.
A verbal spat was witnessed after MP Fernando claimed that a certain member of Parliament had accused him of hiding in a hospital after being summoned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
MP Fernando stated that he was prepared to show the Parliament the scar on his body as evidence of the recent surgery he had undergone, adding that the MP should not talk about something he is not aware of.
Responding to MP Harin Fernando, SJB MP Kumara Welgama said he had not named any member of Parliament when delivering his speech in this regard. (NewsWire)
