A woman has been killed in a shooting incident that had taken place in the Senapilavi area in Nedunkerny, Vavuniya today.
The Police said a 33-year-old woman had been killed in the incident which had occurred this morning.
Investigations have revealed that the woman’s relative who had been hidden in a forest area had shot the woman while she was travelling on her motorcycle.
The suspect is reported to have fled the area following the shooting. (NewsWire)
