The Police have arrested the father, mother, and sister of the 13-year-old girl who was murdered in Pudukudirippu, Mullaithivu.
Police suspect that the 13 year old died when the her family attempted to perform an abortion.
Following investigations, Police had earlier arrested the brother-in-law of the victim on suspicion.
The 13-year-old girl was found dead close to her house in Pudukudirippu, Mullaitivu earlier this week.
She was reported missing, since the 15th of December, and despite area residents and the Police launching a search operation, they were unable to find the girl.
However, on Sunday (19), the body of the girl was found in the forest area 500 m away from her house. (NewsWire)
