A video is being circulated in social media of two traffic police officers assaulting a person on the road. It was revealed that this incident took place in Kegalle area.
According to the Police, the person who’s being attacked has assualted a woman.
The suspect, a resident of Habudugala area has been arrested by the police.
The assault had taken place when the police officers attempted to arrest the suspect.
Police have also launched an inquiry against the Police officer for using excessive force when arresting the suspect. (NewsWire)
