Senior Professor of Business Economics, H.D. Karunaratne has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of University of Colombo.
President’s Spokesman Kingsly Ratnayake confirmd that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has made the appointment which will be effective from April 12th.
Meanwhile both President and Prime Minister attended an event held yesterday to felicitate Muruththettuwe Ananda Thero who was appointed as the Chancellor of Colombo University recently. (NewsWire)
