Large crowds have been witnessed at the Colombo Port City Marina Promenade which was declared open to the public recently.
According to reports, a total of 89,540 persons have visited the Colombo Port City Marina Promenade in the last eight days.
The Police were also forced to close the gates to the public on several occasions after a large number of people had flocked to the location.
Meanwhile, the health authorities have warned that the behavior of the public threatens to create a new Covid cluster.
