Ten (10) women have been arrested following a raid conducted on a brothel in Colpetty last night.
Officials from the Colpetty Police Station had raided the brothel that had been operated under the guise of a spa.
The arrested women are aged between 32 and 60, and are residents of Gonawila, Bandarawela, Gothatuwa, Opanayake, Athurugiriya, Aththidiya, Kahawatta, Kadugannawa, Matara, and Kandana.
The suspects were produced before the Fort Magistrate’s Court today. The Colpetty Police is conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
