A 15-year-old school girl from Kantale, Agbopura area who was seriously injured in a stabbing incident has died yesterday.
The victim had been reportedly stabbed while she was at her home. A 17-year-old youth has been arrested in connection with the incident, who has been identified as the boyfriend.
The girl’s mother was also at home at the time of the stabbing and police believe that the suspect had been hiding in the house when the attack took place.
The girl who was in a critical condition died yesterday (4) while receiving treatment in hospital. The arrested youth has been remanded till the 9th of February after being produced before the Kantale Chief Magistrate. (NewsWire)
