The Nittambuwa Police say that they have received a complaint that a Pajero SUV worth around Rs. 50 million had been stolen from a house in Pasyala yesterday (06).
The SUV belongs to a businessman who owns a car sale in the Nittambuwa area.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the robbers have broken-in to the house through a window at around 3:00 am and had taken the key which was hanging in the key hanging area and driven away the SUV, the police said.
The police further said that Investigations have revealed that the vehicle was driven towards Colombo on the Colombo-Kandy main road, according to CCTV footage.
Police are conducting further investigations to apprehend the suspects. (NewsWire)
