President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has issued a directive to investigate whether there has been any undue influence by a candidate for the post of a national school principal.
The President’s Media Division said the President had issued the directive to the Secretary to the Ministry of Education.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Education has been ordered to look into whether there has been any undue influence on the Interview Board or the Education Service Committee of the Public Service Commission during and after the interview of candidates in appointing principals for national schools.
