The water supply will be disrupted for a period of 14-hours in several areas in and around Ja-Ela from today.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said the water cut will be imposed from 4.00 pm today to 6.00 am tomorrow (10).
The water supply is being disrupted due to urgent pipeline repair work on the Ja-Ela road, the Board added.
Thereby, the water cut will be imposed in the Ekala, Kotugoda, Udammita, Raja Mawatha, from Thudella to the 20 mile post on the Negombo road, Wahatiyagama, Dalathura, Katunayake, Seeduwa, a section of Udugampola and Minuwandoga areas, the Katunayake airforce camp, Katunayaka Free Trade Zone (FTZ), and Katana South.
