The first ever Oud Oil Factory in Sri Lanka was declared open by Minister Namal Rajapaksa today.
Pintanna Group of Companies, the pioneers of Sri Lankan Agarwood, has established the factory with an objective of aiding to uplift the Sri Lankan economy.
The factory is expected to help Sri Lanka distill Oud Oil in large scale to cater to the Middle East.
Commenting on the factory, the Sports Minister revealed that the project is headed by former Sri Lanka cricketer and ICC, Elite Pannel Umpire Kumar Dharmasena.
