The traditional Papare music band seen at every Sri Lanka cricket match will not be allowed at the Sri Lanka tour of Australia 2022.
The Papare Band Melbourne said the music band will not be seen at the upcoming cricket series for the first time in 20 years.
Along with the Papare band, Australian authorities have also not allowed the Sri Lanka Fan Zone for the entire series.
The Papare Band Melbourne said the decisions have been taken based on health advice for bio-security reasons as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 05-match T20I series will commence with the first match kicking off in Sydney today. (NewsWire)
