A Public Health Inspector (PHI) has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) for soliciting a bribe.
According to reports, the PHI officer had solicited a bribe of Rs. 5000.
He is reported to have solicited the bribe to refrain from initiating legal action against a restaurant.
The PHI officer has been arrested while accepting the bribe from the other party. (NewsWire)
