Sri Lanka played without frontline bowlers Wanidu Hasaranga and Binura Fernando after they had been ruled out due to contracting COVID-19.
The Sri Lankan side struggled and managed to post only 121 runs in their allotted 20 overs today.
They faced further trouble as bowler Nuwan Thushara pulled out due to an injury after bowling just one over.
Australia easily chased down the target set by Sri Lanka to win the match by 6 wickets and claim the series.
