The Ministry of Health yesterday handed over 25 new ambulances and 38 new cabs to hospitals and regional Medical Officer’s offices island wide.
These cabs were provided with the financial assistance of the Asian Development Bank, The price of one of these cabs is around Rs. 11 million, Health Ministry said.
25 modern ambulances were purchased at a cost of around Rs. 15 million per ambulance.
