Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has approved power cuts for Monday (21 Feb) on request of Ceylon Electricity Board due to inadequate electricity generation.
“One hour rotational power cuts between 8.30 am to 7.30 pm, except in areas of Southern region where a 3 hour power cut will be effective from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm” Janaka Ratnayake, Chairman PUCSL said in a statement. (NewsWire)
