The Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received a phone call from the President of Sri Lanka Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
According to the Emirates News Agency, WIAM, during the call, historical ties between the two countries were reviewed.
The leaders had also stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen economic cooperation as well as trade and energy ties.
WIAM further reported that the call also touched on a number of regional and international issues of common concern. (NewsWire)
