Two SLPP MPs in trouble for attending Maithri-Wimal-Gammanpila event

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) says disciplinary action is set to be taken against two party members who had participated in the event that was held to unveil the National Policy of the 11 constituent parties of the Government.

A senior official of the SLPP said that the National Policy of the 11 constituent parties of the Government consists of certain facts that are detrimental to the Government.

He further said that it is essential to inquire into the participation of SLPP members in such events. 

The senior official said that the future course of action against the two SLPP members will be decided when the party’s Working Committee next convenes. 

State Minister Vidura Wickrmanayake and MP Premanath Dolawatte from the SLPP had participated in the event organized by the 11 constituent parties of the Government. (NewsWire)
