The main opposition, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) says a group of protesters had hurled eggs at the Head Office of the party located in Kotte.
The protest is reported to have been led by Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Madura Vithanage today.
The group had initially staged a protest march questioning what the SJB had done under the former Government.
Upon reaching the SJB’s Head Office, the group had carried out an egg attack and had staged a protest in front of the building, the SJB alleged.
After pasting placards on the door of the SJB office, the protesters had dispersed. (NewsWire)
