The Sri Lanka Rupee has further depreciated against the US Dollar as per the official exchange rates for foreign currency issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) today.
The CBSL announced that the buying rate of the US Dollar is Rs. 259.99, while the selling rate is Rs. 269.99.
It is an increase of Rs. 10 in comparison to the buying rate of Rs. 249.99 and selling rate of Rs. 259.99 that was reported yesterday.
The buying rate of the Australian Dollar is Rs. 195.34, an increase of Rs. 5 from yesterday.
The Rupee has depreciated by Rs. 6 against the Canadian Dollar, with the selling rate at Rs. 211.63 today.
The selling rate of the Sterling pound has increased to Rs. 352. 66 from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 340. 20. (NewsWire)
