A journalist has taken the Cabinet media briefing to a queue for gas cylinders.
Attending the weekly post-Cabinet media briefing held online today, the journalist was seen standing in a queue along with the public with his laptop perched on 2 cylinders.
Raising the various issues in the country at present, the journalist questioned if the Government does not intend to make a future plan.
Responding to the reporter, Co-Cabinet spokesman Dr. Ramesh Pathirana said no Government wishes to face an increase in the cost of living and the shortage of several essential items.
He further said that no Government wishes to see the public suffering by standing in long queues during its tenure. (NewsWire)
