The Cabinet has granted approval to allocate a plot of land from the Narahenpita area for the construction of a hospital for the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The Government said the Urban Development Authority (UDA) was transferred a land of 7 acres and 39.9 perches from the Narahenpita area for the implementation of urban development projects.
The Sri Lanka Air Force has requested the Urban Development Authority to release 03 acres from the said plot of land for the construction of a hospital.
Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval for the proposal submitted in this regard by the Prime Minister as the Minister of Urban Development and Housing.
The proposal seeks to transfer a portion of the land in extent of 03 acres to the Sri Lanka Air Force as a free grant. (NewsWire)
