A fuel station in Nawala has been robbed early this morning by five armed men.
The Police said the suspects had covered their faces with shawls and had assaulted the employees of the fuel station.
They had thereafter stolen the money that was kept at the fuel station and had fled the area.
The Police said the suspects had arrived in a three-wheeler under the guise of obtaining fuel in a can and had approached the employees of the fuel station.
They had then assaulted the employees and threatened them with a sharp object, after which they had stolen money from the fuel station.
The incident has been captured on the CCTV cameras that had been installed at the fuel station.
The Police said the money that was stolen is yet to be estimated, while information has been received on the identities of the suspects.
