Around 253 foreign women athletes are currently in Sri Lanka participating in the largest sports tourism activity in the island after the Covid-19 pandemic.
They are participating in the largest women’s adventure challenge tournament, ‘Raid Amazones’ renowned all over the world for its variety.
The event kicked off on March 16, where the first phase will end on March 22.
The second phase will take place from March 28 to April 6 with another 216 athletes arriving.
