President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has held a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The Amiri Diwan, the seat of rule of the State of Qatar reported that His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call from President Rajapaksa on Monday morning.
It said the two Heads of State had discussed relations of cooperation between the two countries and prospects for supporting and developing them.
The Amiri Diwan further said that in addition, the discussion also focussed on a number of regional and international issues of common interest. (NewsWire)
