Official CBSL rates : Rupee continues depreciation against USD

The Sri Lanka Rupee has further depreciated by another Rs. 5 against the US Dollar today, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) reported. 

As per the bank’s official rates for foreign currencies for today, the selling rate of the US Dollar has increased from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 289.99 to Rs. 294.99.

The rupee has depreciated by Rs. 4 against the Australian Dollar with the selling rate at Rs. 223.72 today.

The selling rate of the Canadian Dollar has also increased from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 232.43 to Rs. 237.77.

The selling rate of the Euro has increased by Rs. 7 to Rs. 328.50, while the Sterling Pounds has increased by Rs. 8 to Rs. 391.25. (NewsWire)
