JVP leader stopped by protesters (Video)

Leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) today engaged with the public that was participating in a protest against the President and his Government. 

MP Dissanayake voiced his solidarity with the protesters, stating that all politicians accused of financial malpractices should not be allowed to escape from this situation. 

He further said that the nominations of politicians accused of financial malpractices should not be allowed to be accepted in the next election in the country.

The JVP leader made the comments when he was confronted by a group of protesters as he left the Parliament following this morning’s session. (NewsWire)
