Government schools have been instructed to extend their daily school hours by one hour from April 18th, 2022, the Education Ministry announced today.
Secretary to the Ministry Prof. Kapila Perera said the decision has been taken to cover the missed hours of the first school term.
He said thereby school hours will be extended by an hour from 18th April until 23rd December for this year’s academic term only.
Prof. Kapila Perera further said the school schedules, including interim vacations, have already been submitted to the principals. (NewsWire)
