The peaceful public protest at the Galle Face Green in Colombo continued for the 6th consecutive day today.
The protesters dawned the April New Year together at the Occupy Galle Face site, which has been renamed ‘Gota Go Gama’.
Several rituals were seen being held simultaneously at the location and in front of the Presidential Secretariat by the protesters, to celebrate the April New Year, which falls today.
Meanwhile, top artist Victor Ratnayake today joined the public protest which is being held against the President and his Government. (NewsWire)
