Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) MP Suren Raghavan has been appointed as a State Minister.
Raghavan was among the group of SLFP MPs who withdrew from the Government last week.
However, Suren Raghavan was sworn in as the State Minister of Education, Services, and Reforms today.
He is the second SLFP MP to accept a ministerial portfolio under the incumbent Government.
Earlier, SLFP MP Shantha Bandara accepted a ministerial portfolio from the Government and was appointed as the State Minister of Agriculture. (NewsWire)
