President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s statement on the appointing of a new Cabinet of Ministers will be broadcasted tonight.
According to the President’s Media Division (PMD), the President’s statement will be broadcasted at 07.30 pm on all television and radio channels.
The PMD further said that four high-ranking Government posts will remain unchanged, despite the appointing of a new Cabinet.
The ministries that were under the purview of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will remain unchanged, while Mahinda Rajapaksa will continue his duties as the Prime Minister.
Professor G.L. Peries will remain as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, while Ali Sabry will continue as the Minister of Finance, the PMD added. (NewsWire)
