The daughter of the individual who was shot dead by the Police in Rambukkana during a protest has called for justice.
42-year-old K. D. Lakshan had died of gunshot injuries after the Police had opened fire to disperse a group of protesters who were engaged in a protest demanding fuel on Tuesday (19).
Speaking to the media, the daughter of the victim revealed that her father had not participated in the protest, but had gone to obtain fuel for his motorcycle.
She further said another individual had seen her father being shot by the Police while standing away from the protest.
Stating that she does not require any financial assistance, the child called for justice for her father. (NewsWire)
