A proposal to continue governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has been unanimously passed.
The Prime Minister’s office said in a statement that the proposal was passed during the government Parliamentary group meeting that was held today.
MP Sahan Pradheep had proposed that it was essential to form a government under the leadership of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to address the current issues in the country.
The Prime Minister’s Office said the proposal was thereafter unanimously passed by the ruling party MPs. (NewsWire)
