A ship with 3,600 Metric Tonnes (MT) of domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has arrived in Sri Lanka.

Litro Gas Lanka said the ship had arrived at the Colombo Port at 8.30 am today.

Sri Lanka’s primary gas dealer further said that the distribution of domestic gas will commence tomorrow.

The company added that another ship with 3,600 MT for which payment has been made, will arrive on Thursday, 28th April.

On Friday, Litro Gas Lanka suspended the distribution of domestic gas cylinders until yesterday, 25 April.

The decision had been taken as the company was awaiting the arrival of the consignment of 3,600 MT of LPG which arrived today. (NewsWire)
