Sri Lanka has reported a drop of nearly 43.3 per cent in tourist arrivals for the month of April.
According to the Tourism Ministry, Sri Lanka reported 60, 359 tourist arrivals in April 2022.
It is a drop of 46,141 tourists from the 106,500 tourist arrivals that were reported in March 2022.
In January, Sri Lanka saw 82,327 tourist arrivals and in February, it reported an increase with 96,507 tourists arriving in the country.
Following over 100,000 tourist arrivals being reported in March, a significant decline has been observed in April. (NewsWire)
