The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather advisory for heavy rains for six (06) districts.
In a statement, the department said showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Southern provinces.
It further said that heavy showers above 100 mm may occur at some places in these areas.
The weather advisory is effective until 12.30 pm tomorrow, the 3rd of May 2022. (NewsWire)
