The public has attacked buses that were transporting Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) supporters who had attended a meeting with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees this morning.

Following the meeting, the SLPP supporters had attacked peaceful anti-government protesters in front of the Temple Trees and at the Galle Face Green in Colombo.

The SLPP supporters had destroyed both the ‘Maina Go Gama’ and Gota Go Gama’ anti-government protest sites in Colombo.
