D.A. Rajapaksa is the father of the Rajapaksa brothers Mahinda Rajapaksa, Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Chamal Rajapaksa, and Basil Rajapaksa.
The DA Rajapaksa statue has been broken up by the public who are angered over the attack on peaceful protesters in Colombo yesterday by supporters of Mahinda Rajapaksa.Â
Showing their displeasure over the former Prime Minister and his ruling party, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) supporters the public has been retaliating by destroying their properties, including vehicles and houses.
The incident has led to widespread unrest in Sri Lanka despite an islandwide curfew being in effect until tomorrow. (NewsWire)
