Any government that is formed under the current President will be against the public’s opinion, the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) said today.
JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva said such a government will not be accepted by the people and will not survive even for a month.
“They are attempting to safeguard themselves by bringing in Ranil Wickremesinghe. He is the mastermind of the Central Bank bond scam,” he revealed.
Tilvin Silva pointed out that if the man who was known for destroying the country and was sent away to form a new government, is now being provided the post of Prime Minister by the same government, this shows they are all together.
Stating that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa says he is prepared to abolish the Executive Presidency and has called for others to take over the government, Silva said no one is ready to believe his words. (NewsWire)
