The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has warned of launching a trade union action from the 25th of May 2022.
Issuing a statement, the GMOA said a trade union action is being considered to protest moves by the government to impose a salary cut on employees of the health sector.
The GMOA also said the trade union action will be staged to protest government moves to privatize the National Health Services (NHS).
Calling for a discussion with the Prime Minister, Secretaries to the Prime Minister and Ministry of Finance, and the Director-General of Health Services, the GMOA has urged the relevant authorities to resolve the issues.
The GMOA has also warned that it will launch its trade union action together with other employees of the health sector on 25th May if the authorities fail to provide a favourable response to their demands. (NewsWire)
